Write and Interpret Numerical Expressions
This hour-long class will teach students how to write, explain, and evaluate numerical expressions with all four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to solve up to two-step problems. This includes order of operations and the different properties (commutative, associative, and distributive). This class will allow them to explore these concepts while working collaboratively with other students, and we will practice and solidify their understanding through hands-on activities and fun games. This class meets once a week for 4 weeks. There is a maximum of 10 students for this class.
When: Tuesdays 4:00-5:00 EST; 4 weeks; September 6 – September 27
