Here’s what’s included:

• Interactive video lessons for every topic, each with an accompanying worksheet that students fill in as they watch, if you choose to follow the student led lesson (or parents and students can also watch and go through the video lesson together if you choose!).
• Fun review games with each lesson that students can play on their own or with friends and family to practice what they learn.
• Optional practice assignments for students to do between lessons for extra practice if you choose.
• Optional assessments at the end of each unit that you can choose to have your student do if you’d like to get an idea of their progress on that topic.
• All answer keys you and your student will need to check their work and make sure they’re on the right track!

What makes Mindful Math so flexible?

• You decide how long you or your student will spend on each lesson. You can cut parts out, spread it out over multiple days, get the whole lesson done in one day, do one unit per month, or choose to do multiple units per month! It’s totally up to you and can be done around any lifestyle or schedule!
• Your student can learn in whatever way works best for them! You can teach them the lesson yourself, you can have them watch the video independently, or you can watch it with them and teach along with the video!
• Each unit is separate so you can switch between levels in a school year if you need to instead of committing to one level for the whole year. If your student needs more practice on a topic, they can move down a level. If they are more advanced in a certain topic, they can choose to do the next level up for that unit.

What grade levels does this curriculum cover?

Is Mindful Math an online or pen and paper curriculum?

When you order Mindful Math, you are immediately sent a PDF of the curriculum booklet. That booklet comes with everything you need to teach all of your lessons, or have your student go through the lessons on their own independently. You can choose which of the provided resources you’d like to print on your own to use. There is a video lesson component that you can use if you choose to, so there are both pen and paper and online components to this curriculum, and you choose which ones you’d like to use.

Is Mindful Math a full year curriculum?

Mindful Math is in progress and is being released one unit at a time as it is being created. You can CLICK HERE to see what units are currently available. Once it is complete, it will be a full year math curriculum. It is sold in separate units so that you can pick and choose which topics you need, or move back and forth between levels throughout the school year. So you can choose to only use some units, or if you choose to complete all 10 units of a certain level, it will be a full year curriculum.

How is this curriculum structured?

Mindful Math is structured by level and by unit. When it is fully complete, there will be 4 levels: Level 1 Elementary (3/4 grade), Level 2 Elementary (4/5 grade), Level 1 Middle School (6/7 grade), Level 2 Middle School (7/8 grade). Each level is made up of 10 units, which covers a full school year. Each unit has 4 lessons, and you can decide how quickly you’d like to go through each unit. When I teach my live homeschool math classes using these lessons, I teach one lesson a week, so each unit takes 1 month. You can choose to go at this same speed, or you can choose to go faster or slower if you’d like.
